On his wedding day, Nathan finds his bride's ex, Dylan, in the bridal suite, playing with his boutonniere; Sophie defends Dylan, so Nathan calls off the wedding. Deep in debt, Dylan twists the story with an edited video, but Nathan keeps the full footage and pursues legal action, while Sophie takes responsibility for the wedding losses. Dylan and his brother try to move assets and sway witnesses, but their plans fail; Nathan lets go of the relationship and starts over.
